How to Plan an Amazing Church or Community Event with Inflatables

Churches and community organizations are some of our favorite clients. Whether it's a fall festival, VBS, back-to-school bash, or outreach event — inflatables bring people together and create memories that last. Here's how to plan one that runs smoothly.

1. Start Planning 4-6 Weeks Out

Church events often fall on popular weekends (fall festivals, Easter, July 4th). The earlier you book, the more options you'll have. We work with 5+ churches in the Texarkana area and weekends fill up fast during peak season.

2. Think About Your Crowd Size

For smaller events (50-100 people), one or two inflatables plus some yard games is perfect. For larger events (200+), consider our Royal Celebration or Mega Package — they include multiple inflatables, all concessions, and all yard games so there's something for everyone.

• Small event (50-100): 1 combo unit + yard games + 1 concession
• Medium event (100-200): 2 inflatables + all concessions + yard games
• Large event (200+): Mega Package — all the fun in one booking

3. Plan Your Layout

Most church parking lots and fields have plenty of room. Here are a few layout tips:

• Place inflatables on flat ground away from fences and trees
• Keep concessions near a central gathering area
• Spread yard games around the perimeter so there's activity everywhere
• Make sure each inflatable is within 100 feet of a power outlet
• If using water slides, you'll need a hose within 50 feet

4. Recruit Volunteers

We handle all setup and takedown, but you'll want volunteers to help supervise the inflatables, run concession stations, and manage the flow of kids. A good rule of thumb: 1 volunteer per inflatable + 1 per concession station.

5. Add a Movie Night

Want to make your event truly special? Add our outdoor movie night package — a 24ft 4K HD screen with projector and speakers. It's perfect for an evening showing after the inflatables wind down. Kids (and adults) love it.

6. Promote Your Event
